Dr. Sloane has been an attorney at law since 1976 and
began teaching in colleges and universities in 1979. A
member of the Maryland and Pennsylvania bars (Of Counsel
to The Shagin Law Group LLC), he was ordained as an
Anglican priest in 1997.
He serves as board chair of the American College of
Counselors and is a past chair of the American Board of
Forensic Counselors. He is a Life Fellow of the
American College of Forensic Examiners International.
Dr. Sloane is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania
[B.A. 1972], Liberty University [M.A.R. 1993], Widener
University [J.D. 1975], Temple University [LL.M. (Labor)
1979], and American Christian College and Seminary
[Ph.D. in Religion 1995]. He is a member of the
Association of Caribbean Higher Education Administrators
and the Commission on Forensic Education.
