Overview
Our candidates include educators from primary, secondary and tertiary
schools. They are deans, professors, superintendents, teachers,
counselors and specialists working for public and private institutions,
as well as being in private practice.
All share a common
interest, which is to earn their doctorate or their master’s degree.
IUGS will accept all relevant graduate credits from accredited
institutions, as well as approved continuing education coursework. You
may have earned enough credits to have completed your course
requirements. For your doctorate you would need a seminar and a
dissertation or a written and an oral examination. For your master’s
degree you would need a seminar and a thesis or a written and an oral
examination. Why not call our admissions office (888-989-GRAD) and
discuss your potential candidacy. We look forward to aiding you in your
endeavors for additional academic credentials.
Official letters conferring and
explaining our accreditation are posted on the
University’s web site.
IUGS is included in the World Higher Education Database,
maintained by the International Association of Universities.
Founded in 1950, the IAU is an NGO maintaining formal
associate relations with
UNESCO and is listed online at
http://www.unesco.org/iau/onlinedatabases/list.html.
Accreditation from a sovereign country is the highest form of accreditation.
In addition, the University has:
•Approval for tuition reimbursement and
payment from major U.S. hospitals, unions,
government agencies and private institutions;
•Co-sponsored continuing-education programs
with U.S. and International certification, licensing
agencies and organizations;
•Graduates who are in private practice and
hold or have held key positions in many
academic, government and private institutions.
How Long does it take to earn the degree?
On a
part-time basis, most
candidates are
anticipated to complete
their degree
requirements within
eighteen months. The
determining criteria are
dedication and the
candidate's previous
academic and
professional portfolio
