Many librarians have earned
more graduate credits than are required for a Doctor of
Philosophy degree. These credits may have been taken to
complete one or more master’s degrees, or may have been
accumulated with the intention on earning a doctorate.
These credits will typically not be accepted in
transfer, or if they are, it will be on a limited basis.
IUGS will accept all relevant
graduate credits from accredited institutions.
Therefore you may need only a doctoral seminar and a
dissertation to earn your Ph.D. Our candidates and
graduates are professors, directors, and librarians who
hold positions in elementary, secondary and tertiary
institutions.
Call our admissions office
(888-989-GRAD) and discuss your potential candidacy. We
look forward to aiding you in your academic pursuits.
